The Quality Management System based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001 international standard that was introduced in the Analysis Centre has two key strengths: the leadership of the laboratory managers and the commitment and participation of the entire staff. The application of this system as part of the day-to-day work guarantees its success.

The Quality Management Committee was founded as a body to monitor the system. It meets every three months and is made up of the heads of each department. It is led by Dr José Luis Antich Rojas and coordinated by Dr Loles Pons Casanovas, who is also responsible for the internal audits and for the supervision and the constant update of the fulfilment of the ISO requirements.

The main goal of the Clínica Rotger Analysis Centre is to offer and provide efficiently the best diagnosis service with the highest technical and human quality in order to meet the clients’ expectations.

The Clínica Rotger Analysis Centre is located in a hospital centre. It gives a special clinical and diagnostic approach to the activity it carries out, it boosts the constant update of its methods and procedures, it pays attention to the introduction of new diagnostic developments and looks after the ongoing relationship with the specialists in order to recognise and assess their needs, providing them with all the necessary resources to meet their expectations.

Process Management

The incorporation of Process Management from the moment the Management System was established, together with the commitment of the entire staff, has brought benefits in terms of efficiency, productivity, flexibility, control and agility. This has also increased our response capacity to changes, it has enhanced the integral management of our relationship with our clients, providers and interested parties, it has reduced time and costs, it has simplified the management work and the decision-making process and, finally, it has improved the service provided to the clients and increased their satisfaction.

Furthermore, Process Management has enabled us to detect the critical areas and apply the necessary control systems to minimise the effects of the possible deviations of the service that is being offered to the client.

The identification and definition of the indicators to measure such processes is an objective tool that helps us determine their suitability and improve them, when appropriate.

ISO Certifications

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an organisation that develops and publishes international standards. ISO International Standards have become a synonym for reliability worldwide, that is, reliability for those who obtain the certification of their companies according to ISO standards, ensuring that their products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality.

The Clínica Rotger Analysis Centre obtained the ISO certification in 2004 for the first time, and again in 2007, 2010 and 2013 based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001 requirements.

The centre extended its certification scope in 2013, since it incorporated the Metric Driven Verification Unit. This turned the centre into the only laboratory of the Balearic Islands to offer this kind of service.
